I’m currently a trainee driving instructor with DRIVE, a leading national driving & training school. I work around the Tavistock area, from Launceston & Okehampton to the north, down to Plymouth by the coast. I cover both of the Plymouth and Launceston driving test centres.

As a trainee, I’ve passed my ADI part 1 & 2 tests and am currently operating under a trainee licence for part 3. Although at first this may seem somewhat counter-intuitive, there are in fact a number of benefits! As a trainee… • I’m local to Tavistock. • I’m backed by DRIVE, a national driving school with other instructors in the South West. • I’ve literally just been through the programme. So I’m teaching exactly the way the DVSA want us to teach and following their driving syllabus. • This period for me is primarily about learning & gaining experience, not making money. You will probably pay less than the regular schools. • As I continue study & reflection, I limit the number of students I take on, making it more flexible for those I do teach. • Convenient pick up & drop off. • Dual-controlled car. • 2 hour lessons recommended, although this is flexible. • All lessons are 1 to 1 - there’s no car sharing between students.
